Danielle's expatriate experience in Indonesia dates back to a two-year placement in Yogyakarta, Central Java with the International Division of the YMCA in the late 70s. Soon after her return to the States, she worked for six years at the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston, Texas. In 1988 she returned with her family to Jakarta, and dedicated the next 14 years to the development and dissemination of printed and internet-based resources geared specifically to the cross-cultural and relocation needs of the expatriate community in Indonesia.

During her most recently expat experience in Jakarta, Danielle also worked for six years for a Jakarta-based executive search firm with a predominantly multinational clientele. She spent the early 90s teaching Business English to Indonesian managers and professionals through MBA schools and business-oriented English schools.

Danielle's in-depth, hands-on knowledge in helping countless thousands of expats solve the cross cultural and relocation challenges of moving to Indonesia means that she can provide detailed answers to the most specific questions of families relocating to Indonesia.
